Nigerian starlet confirms Arsenal move!

Nigerian wonderkid Kelechi Nwakali seems to have confirmed his move over to Arsenal via a Facebook post.

Nwakali captained his nation to World Cup success with the under-17 team.

He was also named the player of the tournament, while his teammate Samuel Chukwueze picked up the tournaments top scorer accolade. Chukwueze has also been heavily linked to Arsenal and it has been reported that he made a visit to London a few months, However, the deal broke down.

Nigerian teamate Chukwueze’s future is still up in the air with the player recently admitting he still has to decide on a club.

Nwakali had apparently signed a five-year a pre-contract with the club in March, and  Arsenal had yet to announce the deal due to the fact the international transfer doesn’t open until July 1st.

Having only just turned 18, Nwakali only recently became available to foreign clubs due to FIFA regulations
