OFFICIAL Borussia Dortmund Sign Reinier Jesus On Two-Year Loan Deal

Borussia Dortmund have officially signed Reinier Jesus on loan from Real Madrid.

The deal is set to last for two seasons just like that of former Real Madrid youngster, Achraf Hakimi. Reinier arrived at the Spanish capital in January for a fee of €30 million from Flamengo.

He spent the past season out with the Real Madrid’s Castilla side and even scored his first goal in March. The attacking midfielder is capable of playing in various positions up top but is best suited centrally. He will no doubt, add more star power to Dortmund’s attacking setup under Lucien Favre and possibly act as an alternative to the injury-riddled, Marco Reus.

On putting pen-to-paper on a new deal, Reinier said, “I’m happy to be with BVB now. The club is known for backing young players and making them better. I want to learn a lot here, play a lot and help the team to be successful. I hope that we’ll have many happy moments together.”
