Mesut Ozil has stated that he will come back ‘stronger than ever’ after suffering an injury in Tuesday’s Champions League game in Munich.

Ozil was replaced at half-time, as the Gunners were knocked out against a lacklustre Bayern Munich.

The German signed from Real Madrid in the Summer for a club record £42 million fee, and lit the Premier League a light.

However, his performances have dipped in recent weeks and months, with fans and pundits alike doubting the players stature.

And the player himself confirmed that he has a ‘muscle injury’.

The 25 year old stated on his official Facebook page.

dear friends,
