Juventus midfielder Paul Pobga is set to sign a new contract in Italy, despite being linked with a move back to the Premier League with former-side Manchester United.

The Frenchman has quickly become one of Europe’s hottest properties after a couple of superb seasons for the Turin-based side, and his performances have caught the eye of old-club United, who released him as a teenager.

Pogba didn’t get on with Sir Alex Ferguson during his time at Old Trafford, but now David Moyes is at the helm, it was suggested that United could bid for the 20-year-old to bring him back to the Premier League.

However, reports from Italy are suggesting that the midfielder is willing to sign an extension at Juve and could sign a four-year deal within a matter of days.

If Pogba is to sign a new deal, it will see him treble his current wage-packet which is roughly around £1m-a-year.
