Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has launched a scathing attack on his own players after they lost their fifth game in a row last night, despite leading the game 2-1 with just 10-minutes to go.
Posh, who are managed by Darren Ferguson, son of Sir Alex, were heavily-tipped to gain automatic promotion straight back to the Championship after being relegated last season, and they started the season in fine form along with rivals Wolves and Leyton Orient.
However, out of a possible 18-points, they have only picked up one in the last six games and finally the chairman snapped.
“My patience is thin with this pathetic run we are on,” the Irish businessman said on Twitter.
