Newcastle striker, Demba Ba, has threatened to quit the Magpies if he isn’t given more game-time by boss Alan Pardew.

The Senegalese striker was used as a second half substitute and came on to score twice to rescuse a point for his side, but he doesn’t want to be starting games on the bench.

His agent, Alex Gontran has blasted the Newcastle manager for keeping the front-man on the bench and has also had a dig at him for playing him out of position when he does make an appearance.

‘Since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations, Demba doesn’t understand the management,’ said Alex Gontran.

‘If he continues to be a substitute all season, we’ll look at other solutions.’

He then added:
‘How could you put your best striker with full confidence on the left wing?’ he added.

The 27-year-old’s brother also made a remark on twitter saying that Pardew was ‘crazy’ for leaving Demba on the bench.
