New Port Vale boss Bruno Ribeiro has admitted he’ll be phoning Jose Mourinho this summer, inquiring over the signing of some Manchester United players.
Ribeiro is a close friend of Mourinho and the United boss recommended the 40-year-old to Port Vale.
Ribeiro has signed a three-year deal with the League One club and says he will have no hesitation ringing Mourinho should he feel reinforcements to his squad are necessary.
He told Sky Sports: “Now we will look at our players and see what we need.
“After we will decide what is best, [signing] some players on loan or not.
“If I need some players from Manchester United I will call him. If he can’t help, it’s not a problem.
Ribeiro replaces Rob Page at Port Vale after the latter left to join Northampton last month.
