Atletico Madrid will beat Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United to the signature of the young Belgian Zakaria Bakkali it has emerged.
Reports from Spain say Bakkali will sign a pre-contract agreement for the current Spanish champions in January.
Bakkali is yet to get a look in at PSV Eindhoven this season, and wants to play for a bigger club.
However PSV sporting director Marcel Brands feels the 18 year old has been disrespectful to the Dutch team.
“[He has] not treated the club with respect. He has not shown respect to the club and there’ll be consequences. Selling him in January is an option.”
A lot is expected of Bakkali, who is said to be in the same mould as Eden Hazard.
