Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool target Sebastian Giovinco looks set to be staying at Juventus according to his agent.

Rumours about the Italian midfielder’s future have been circling for a while, and a January move to the Premier League had looked a possibility.

But these reports have been quashed by Giovinco’s agent, Andrea D’Amico saying his player is staying put in the upcoming transfer window.

“At this moment everything is standing still, and as the player himself already confirmed, I doubt there is a chance that he may move in January.”

The Italian media were reporting last week that fellow Italian outfit Fiorentina would bid for the 27 year old.

However D’Amico says there is no truth in that story either.

“There is absolutely no truth in that [move to Fiorentina], it’s fantasy football. At this moment there is no contact with Fiorentina.”

Giovinco is out of contract at the end of the season and D’Amico admitted that no contract negotiations were underway with Juventus.

“The Bianconeri [Juventus] have not contacted us about this subject. There may be developments in the next few months, but of course I cannot know that now.”
