Paris Saint-Germain are willing to match Toby Alderweireld’s wage demands.

Paris Saint-Germain set to match Toby Alderweireld’s £10m-per-season wage demands after new contract talks with Tottenham collapse.

The Tottenham defender wants a contract close to £200,000-per-week and PSG are willing to match Toby Alderweireld’s £10 million per season wage demands to lure him to France.

The Belgium international is set to leave Tottenham this summer after talks over a new contract collapsed.

Alderweireld wants a deal close to £200,000-per-week – nearly double the club’s current wage. He also wants a five-year deal, something Tottenham are unwilling to offer because the defender is 29-years-old.

Manchester United and PSG are keen on Alderweireld, but the French giants are ready to move to the front of the queue by indicating they are prepared to offer the centre-half the deal he wants.

Mauricio Pochettino has already told Alderweireld he can leave this summer.
