Queens Park Rangers and Stoke City are set to battle it out for Gareth Barry.
Barry, aged 33 was released by Manchester City in the summer, and is a reported target for both clubs.
Redknapp is looking to beef up his midfield, folloeing QPR’s promotion to the Premier League via the play-off’s in May, and views Barry as a suitable target.
The midfielder enjoyed a fine season at Everton, proving that he can still cut it at the top level.
