Liverpool midfielder Raheem Sterling is set to be rewarded for his fine form with a new bumper deal at the club.
The young English winger has been superb for the club since the New Year, and has combined well with front-two Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez, which could be the partnership that guides them to their first ever Premier League title.
The 19-year-old, who had a massive falling out with Brendan Rodgers when he first arrived at the club, has changed his attitude on-and-off the pitch since then, and has even move away from the city centre to stop him going on big nights out.
Executives at the club are keen to reward Sterling for his improvement despite him penning a new deal just under two years ago.
The winger is currently earning around £30k-a-week, but it’s believed that will be increased when the new deal is presented to him.
