Liverpool starlet, Raheem Sterling, alerted fans of the club following the Leicester City victory after posting a message on his official Twitter account.

Following the 3-1 win at the King Power Stadium, Sterling tweeted about his ankle, saying it was ‘in bits’, and that lead to a whole host of worried Red fans assuming the worst.

Brendan Rodgers has already suffered enough with injuries this season, as Daniel Sturridge is still yet to return, but quickly after posting the tweet, Sterling removed it, which could mean there was nothing behind the statement, or he was just told to remove it by Liverpool officials.

The 19-year-old has been heavily used this season by Rodgers, playing 26 times for club and country already this term, but after no formal word from the club, it seems his tweet was just tongue-and-cheek, rather than an actual injury scare.
