Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is still wanted by Spanish giants Real Madrid, and according to reports, they could be prepared to activate his release clause.
The Red Devils shot-stopper was just hours away from moving to the Bernabeu over the summer, but at the last minute, the deal fell through as the paperwork wasn’t finalised in time.
After missing out on his dream move to Madrid, De Gea stayed put at Old Trafford and then decided to sign a four-year deal a few weeks later.
However, in that deal was a release clause, and according to reports, Madrid are ready to activate it.
The La Liga side are prepared to meet the £30million which is in the Spaniard’s contract.
