Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool’s attempts to sign Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema have been boosted after Real revealed they’d be willing to sell Benzema.

A number of Europe’s top clubs are interested in the Frenchman, including the mentioned English teams.

Benzema signed a new five year deal at the Bernabeu in August.

But reports from Spain claim that Real manager Carlo Ancelotti doesn’t see Benzema as his first choice striker, and wants to maximise the profit he can get from a transfer.

Benzema was bought for £28 million from Lyon in 2009, one of Florentino Perez’s first ‘Galactico’ signings in his second term as Real Madrid president.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are all set to battle it out for Benzema’s signature.
