Reports claim Real Madrid will accept a £40m bid from Arsenal for striker Karim Benzema.
The Spanish giants are looking to cash in on their star forward, who has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal for some time now.
It is understood that the Gunners have had their most recent bid of £31m turned down.
But the London club will be able to land the Frenchman if they are willing to spend an additional £9m, according to sources in Spain.
This is believed to be a result of Real‘s continuing interest in Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus, who may replace Benzema if he leaves.
27 year-old Benzema faced criticism from Madrid fans following his poor performance in a pre-season match in Shanghai.
The Frenchman was subbed off at half-time, with many claiming he looked “lost” amidst reports that he could be joining the Premier League this summer.
