Liverpool full-back Glen Johnson will complete his move to Roma in the next 48 hours.
Johnson is out of contract at the end of the season and can talk to foreign clubs about a pre-contract agreement.
The England international has already expressed his interest in moving abroad and could leave Anfield as a free agent.
Johnson has stated that several clubs in Europe have been in touch but it looks like he will be heading to the Serie A giants Roma.
The 30-year old will link up with former England teammate Ashley Cole in the Italian capital.
