Reus to be offered lucrative contract

Germany and Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus is to be handed a new contract at Signal Iduna Park which will see off interest from a whole host of clubs. 

The attacking midfielder is in high demand after a number of top performances, which has seen the player grow into one of the hottest talents in the world. 

Various clubs have been keeping monitoring Reus’ situation at the German club, with most willing to do whatever it takes to prize away the player from Dortmund’s clutches. 

Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are just some of the names who have been linked with the player in recent months. 

With the winger’s buyout clause set to drop from £28 million to £20 million next summer, Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is desperate to keep hold of his star man. 

Reus is set to be tabled a five-year contract woth £8m a year, with the buy-out clause set to rise to £50 million. 

If Reus puts pen to paper on the contract, it is sure to end any speculation of a move to a new club, and United, Arsenal and Liverpool will be hoping that the German delays his decision until the end of the season.
