Manchester United striker, Robin Van Persie, left the Liberty Stadium on crutches after sustaining an injury during their 2-1 defeat to Swansea City.

The Dutchman picked up his injury in the second-half after making a cross and he was unable to run after meaning United had to play the remainder of the game with just ten men.

Louis Van Gaal didn’t comment on the injury after the game and it’s yet unclear what actually is wrong with Van Persie, but according to reports, the striker left the stadium on crutches, so it’s likely to be a long-term injury for the 31-year-old.
