Cristiano Ronaldo is set to stay at Real Madrid, reports the Daily Express.

Ronaldo, aged 29 has been a reported target for both Manchester United and Chelsea, however the Spanish side have issued a hands off warning for their prized winger.

Speculation regarding his future has been in the pipeline for several weeks, following a fall out between Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes, and Florentino Perez, adding more fuel to the fire.

Reports in Spain suggest that both Manchester United and Chelsea are prepared to pay £300,000 a week in his wages, to lure him  back to the Premier League.

Ronaldo signed for Madrid in an £80 million fee from Manchester United in the summer of 2009, after six years at Old Trafford.

And Real are keen to keep him in the Spanish capital, and could offer him an improved contract at the club.
