Arsenal star will get treatment for Achilles problem

Arsenal star Santi Cazorla has travelled to Barcelona to receive treatment for an Achilles heel problem.

The Spanish star has been on the sidelines on the last month with the injury, and now the Gunners are letting him see Dr. Ramon Cugat – a former favourite of Pep Guardiola – in an attempt to end the issue.

During his time at Barcelona, it’s thought that Guardiola was impressed with how quickly Cugat could get players back into action, which is exactly what Arsenal want for Cazorla.

Arsene Wenger is thought to want the playmaker back in action in time for the busy Christmas period the Gunners have.

Cazorla has two goals and two assists in eight Premier League games this season, and the north Londoners looked to be suffering without him when they faced Manchester United on Saturday, a game where they stole a late point thanks to an Olivier Giroud header.
