FIFA president Sepp Blatter and Uefa boss Michel Platini have both been banned from any footballing activities for eight years.
The duo have been thoroughly investigated after all the reports came out of FIFA earlier this season, and both Blatter and Platini have been found guilty.
Both officials were found guilty of breaches surrounding a £1.3million “disloyal payment” which was made to Platini.
Despite being found guilty, both Blatter and Platini denied it and defended their case, but both have now been charged and the eight-year bans will kick-in immediately.
Blatter was already planning on quitting ahead of the next FIFA election, but for Platini, he was hoping to take over from the FIFA president, but that doesn’t look likely anymore.
