Arsenal are set to send Serge Gnabry out on loan to West Bromwich Albion for the 2015/2016 campaign.
The German youngster suffered injuries last season which halted his development, and Arsene Wenger is keen to get him regular game-time this year in order to develop him further.
Gnabry has been linked with several overseas clubs, but Wenger is keen for him to have a season in the Premier League to get regular first-team experience in the league.
WBA originally wanted to land Bakary Sako on a free transfer, but he chose to join Crystal Palace yesterday.
Tony Pulis quickly turned his attentions to the Arsenal youngster and is now ready to land him on a temporary basis.
The initial plan for the 20-year-old is to have a six-month loan until January, but the clubs could agree to extend it to a full season if it works out for both parties.
With the likes of Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ahead of him in the pecking order, Gnabry will be sent out in order to play regularly.
