People love a good list.

So from now on, Silly Season will be putting together a weekly power ranking, ranking ten players or managers from the Premier League in order of how well the week has gone for them, off or on the field, in all competitions.

So let’s jump right into it, and see who made the cut this week.

If you think we missed anybody out, let us know in the comments sections!

NUMBER 10 – ARSENE WENGER

While it wasn’t in the Premier League, suffering a 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Bayern Munich certainly didn’t help Arsene Wenger.

With fans in revolt and begging for change, Wenger has come under a lot of criticism over the last few weeks, and with many feeling this year is finally the year the man synonymous with Arsenal should take his ball and go home.

It certainly hasn’t been a good week for The Professor.

NUMBER 9 – MESUT OZIL

He didn’t play badly against Bayern Munich, did he? Mainly because most people forgot he was on the pitch.

Arsenal fans frustrations with what is supposed to be one of their BEST stars continues to grow, with Ozil continuing to not show up when the Gunners need him most.

NUMBER 8 – GABRIEL JESUS

Despite starting life at Manchester City in blistering form, the young Brazilian will likely miss the remainder of the season through injury, which isn’t the nicest thing to hear during your week as a footballer.

NUMBER 7 – ALEXIS SANCHEZ

With Chilean fans planning a protest against Sanchez staying with Arsenal, along with the beating his side took in the Champions League, and his growing frustrations over Arsenal’s recent performances, fans would be forgiven for thinking that Alexis Sanchez was a little bit upset – he did however bag two goals for Arsenal against Hull, pushing him further up the list.

NUMBER 6 – JACK WILSHIRE

Another player that fell to injury, in the same game as Gabriel Jesus, but the good news is that Wilshire’s ankle injury is considered to be a minor one and he should be returning for Bournemouth soon.

NUMBER 5 – PEDRO

Pedro bagged a goal for Chelsea in their 1-1 draw with Burnley, and continues to show much improved form than the one he displayed last season, keeping Willian out of the side.

NUMBER 4 – SEAN DYCHE

Burnley’s manager gets a mention on this weeks list as they continued their impressive home record, holding league leaders Chelsea at Turf Moor, further showing that Sean Dyche is doing a great job with the side.

NUMBER 3 – ANTONIO CONTE

The third manager on the list, although Chelsea were held by Burnley – who have a very good home record, Antonio Conte’s high flying Blues remain top of the Premier League, with the majority of fans believing that it will really take some doing to catch them now — and when you compare where they are now to last season, it really reflects well on Conte.

NUMBER 2 – SADIO MANE

Putting in a great shift against Tottenham and reminding Liverpool fans why they missed him so much while he was away at the African Cup of Nations, bagging himself two goals.

NUMBER 1 – ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC

Grabbing himself a goal in Manchester United’s 3-o win over Leicester City, and then putting away a hat-trick in the Europa League tie with St Etienne, a team he often faced during his time with PSG, a great week for the big Swede, who topped it off by telling us all that he’s the footballing equivalent of Indiana Jones, lovely.
