This has come as a blow to some fans as this is their crunch clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The 25-year-old made his first appearance of the season for the north London side when he came off the bench in the 3-1 win over Cologne in the Europa League on Thursday night.
However, the England international has now taken to social media to wish his fellow team-mates luck in the clash against Chelsea as he appeared to indicate that he won’t be featuring at Stamford Bridge.
Wilshere posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Hard work continues. Good luck to the lads tomorrow! Massive game #afc”
