Luis Suarez’s agent has told the press that it would be hard for the striker to reject Real Madrid. The Uruguayan has been linked with the European Champions this summer; however Suarez did insist that he was happy to stay at Anfield. Suarez, who won the Golden Boot Award after scoring 31 goals last season, signed a new contract with The Reds in December but his representative says the striker would rather a move to Spain if the opportunity emerges.
“A year ago he was very likely to leave Liverpool,” Alejandro Balbi told Cadena SER.
“Now I think it is very difficult because he is an idol, although clubs can offer a lot of money.
“If there is such a big offer from Real Madrid, it would be very difficult to say no. Luis Suarez has always had a predisposition for Spain.”
