Controversial Liverpool target man Mario Ballotelli is once again in the headlines, as he posted the above image on his Instagram account yesterday.
The Italian has been accused of ‘an allegedly offensive reference to race and Judaism’ by the FA and he is likely to recieve a fine for this.
Liverpool have confirmed that they will be opening talks with Balotelli over the incident.
The misfiring striker, who has failed to score in the league since signing from AC Milan, stated on his official Twitter account: “I apologize if I’ve offended anyone. The post was meant to be anti-racist with humour.”
This isn’t the first time Balotelli has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons.
The 24-year-old spent most of his time at Manchester City making the headlines for the wrong reasons.
