According to Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini, his side is one to avoid for any team in the Champions League knock-out stages.

Their 5-2 victory last night over CSKA Moscow was enough to give them qualification to the knockout stages for the first time in their history, and they have done it with two games to go as well.

On quite a comfortable night for Pellegrini and co., it was Sergio Agueor and Alvaro Negredo who stole the show and after the game, the Chilean manager admitted that he believes team’s should fear his strong squad.

He said: ‘The first target was to qualify for the next round and I had a lot of belief that we would do it but that is not the only target we have.

‘We have a strong squad. I’m sure whoever plays against us will not be happy that they have been drawn against us.

‘I think we are capable of beating any team but we must also know that any team (in the last 16) can beat us.

‘We look forward to seeing how far we will go in this Champions League. To be in with two games to go is very important. We are very happy.’
