Jose Mourinho has come under yet more scrutiny after yesterday’s 3-1 defeat at home to Southampton as the reigning champions are already 10 points behind leaders Manchester City after just 8 games.
They are also just 4 points off the relegation zone too but John Terry believes that it is far too early to be discussing the manager’s future.
Terry said “I have been here a long time and I have seen managers come and go and if anyone is going to get us out of this hole it is going to be Jose Mourinho.”
“The players will remain together and fight, and keep fighting for the supporters because they were excellent on Saturday.”
“We are not in the familiar position we are normally in.”
