Thiago Silva set to depart Chelsea ftaer Verbal agreement reached with Fluminense

Thiago Silva, an experienced defender, is ready to leave Chelsea after allegedly reaching a verbal deal with his prior club, Fluminense, ahead of the summer transfer season.

The Brazilian, observed for his expertise and calmness, is expected to leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires on June 30.

Silva’s probable exit comes at a difficult time for Chelsea, with disappointing outcomes on the football and management unpredictability off it. The Blues were beaten 5-0 by Arsenal, adding to their earlier FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City.

Although having plenty of time to rectify flaws, manager Mauricio Pochettino has failed to maintain the team’s performance.

Todd Boehly, Chelsea’s owner, may be pondering on the team’s disappointing season, given the enormous investment invested in the schedule. While a Champions League finish appeared feasible, Chelsea is currently out of contention in the Premier League.

Silva’s exit represents more than just a personnel shift; it marks the end of an era for Chelsea, as they say farewell to a dependable presence on defense.

As the season comes to a close, Chelsea will rely on Silva’s professionalism and attention to secure the top spot in the league standings, despite persistent rumors and instability.
