Thibaut Courtois’ agent is constantly offering the player to Real Madrid, according to reports from Spain.
The shot-stopper has become Chelsea’s number one since returning from Atletico Madrid after a loan spell where he impressed many with his tremendous performances.
He has become one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League now – but he could be on his way away from England soon.
This is because the player’s agent is reportedly in constant touch with Real Madrid over a move that would see the Belgium international make the move back to La Liga permanently.
Real Madrid have been on the lookout for a new goalkeeper for quite some time now, with the most linked number one being Man United’s David De Gea.
The Spanish side nearly completed a deal for the Spaniard a few seasons ago, only for the deal to collapse due to documents being submitted late because of a faulty fax machine.
They’re expected to make a fresh approach for the 26-year old when the season ends but the Red Devils will be extremely reluctant to let him leave and he could also cost a substantial fee, with these reports claiming it could take £60m to tempt United to sell.
Therefore, they could instead turn to Courtois and with the agent seemingly hoping for a move to happen and with the player himself potentially looking for a move back to Madrid to be back with his family, a deal could happen.
