Three Strikers Chelsea Could Sign in January

It’s no secret that Chelsea Boss Antonio Conte is looking for players, and the upcoming transfer window will be the perfect opportunity for the manager to lure some talent over to Stamford bridge.

Loads of players have been linked with Chelsea, and with transfer news thrown at you everyday there’s no doubt you’ve heard them all about 100 times.

So just because you haven’t had enough, we decided to take a look at three players that Conte could sign for Chelsea in the January Transfer window.

3.Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool)

Sturridge has struggled to solidify a permanent spot in the first-team over at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp and is finding it hard to get enough game time.

He has a good scoring record for the Reds, and amazingly, has only missed two games with an injury this season.

Now he has the bug to play, He is no doubt going to look for first team action elsewhere, with the World Cup coming up and Chelsea may give him another try.

His first run at the Bridge was not too exciting but the 28-year old could be a superb backup for Morata in the first-team.

2.Moussa Dembele (Celtic)

Hailed as one of the most exciting strikers in Europe right now, Dembele is in top form in Glasgow. He’s netted four goals and three assists in just 10 league games this season, He is a gun of a goalscorer, who Chelsea were keen on in the summer and with Celtic now in Europa League but comfortably placed to win the domestic league, Chelsea may have a chance to lure him over to London this time.

1.Kevin Gameiro (Atletico Madrid)

Another French international who Chelsea could snatch up is Atletico Madrid star Gameiro. At 30, he may not be a long-term signing but his experience is what the Blues crave right now. He has three goals and one assist in just 6 starts this season and has been linked with a move to England already. However, Chelsea should definitely join the race to sign him as his attributes are a perfect fit for Conte. He may not be the best option available but mid-way through the season, Chelsea might not be able to find a better fit.
