Sky Sports are reporting that they expect Tony Pulis to remain at West Brom despite rumours of him wanting to leave.
Friday mornings papers were suggesting that after a frustrating transfer window, Pulis was wanting to leave fearing a season of struggle.
Hal Robson-Kanu arrived on a free transfer along Allan Nyom from Watford for £4m on transfer deadline day, joining fellow new recruits Nacer Chadli,Matt Phillips and Brendan Galloway. However, Pulis is reportedly frustrated at not being able to strengthen his side further.
Speculation of a rift between Pulis and the Albion board intensified after chairman John Williams issued a statement on Thursday defending the club’s record in the summer window and claiming a deal which would have broken their transfer record was ruled out for ‘footballing reasons”.
But it seems that Pulis is set to stay, as Sky Sports report.
