10. David Silva – Manchester City/Spain – 88

Starting the list of the Top 10 FIFA 16 Player Ratings is Manchester City and Spanish playmaker David Silva, the Spaniard has a FIFA 16 rating of 88 making him the tenth player on the list, he is well known for his passing accuracy and dribbling ability, he is not the fastest player in FIFA 16 but he is certainly one of the best players in the video game.

David Silva is more of an attacking player than a defensive player and might be offensive when it comes to counter attacking football as he has the vision to pick out a good pass onto players in great positions.

9. Thiago Silva – Paris Saint Germain/Brazil – 88

One of the best defenders in world football at the moment and now he makes the list of the Top 10 FIFA 16 Player Ratings coming in at number 9 with a rating of 88 same as Manchester City attacking midfielder David Silva. The defender is one of the most complete defenders in the world and is known for his pace, physicality, passing and strong defending.

The defender is also one of the most expensive defenders in the world and the Top 10 Biggest Transfer Fees in Serie A History following his move from AC Milan to Paris Saint Germain back in 2012.

8. Neymar Jr – Barcelona/Brazil – 88

His only 2 years of age and he is the captain of the Brazilian national team since at the age of 21 and their savior, he has over 45 goals for his national side which is quite an achievement as he is only 23. The young Brazilian joined FC Barcelona from Santos in 2013 for a fee of €57.1 million making him one of the most expensive footballers in the world. He is well known for his pace, dribbling skills, and great finishing ability with both feet, he is also great at taking free kicks.

Neymar Jr has a FIFA 16 Rating of 89 which 3 more than his previous rating in FIFA 15.

7. Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Paris Saint Germain/Sweeden – 89

Zlatan Ibrahimovic takes up 7th place with a FIFA 16 rating of 89 , wow ! at his age and he is still one of the best players? what a player the Swedish international is. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is currently playing for Paris Saint Germain in the French Ligue 1. His known for his dribbling ability, shooting power, strength, heading accuracy and acrobatic abilities.

6. Eden Hazard – Chelsea/Belgium – 89

And in sixth place is the only Chelsea player on the list and its no other than Chelsea’s and the Premier Leagues best player by far margin, Eden Hazard. The Belgium international was instrumental for Chelsea last season and helped them to their first Premier League title in 5 years. Eden Hazard has gone a step further on the FIFA ratings this time with an 89 rating in FIFA 16 better than his 88 in FIFA 15 no doubts Eden Hazard should be ranked 6th on FIFA 16, predictions went on that the Belgium wizard might get to 90 but it’s not yet his time maybe FIFA 17? Let’s just say maybe.

5. Arjen Robben – Bayern Munchen/Holland – 90

OHHHH What great speed and what a left foot this player has. Closing down on the top five of the Top 10 FIFA 16 Player Ratings Bayern Munchen and Holland winger with a rating of 90 same as the one he had on FIFA 15. Well this player is known for his blistering pace, dribbling ability, curving of the ball and great shooting ability. He might not be the most physical player in FIFA 16 but this player can get passed any defense.

4. Manuel Neuer – Bayern Munchen/Germany -90

The only goalkeeper on this list and its no other than undoubtedly the best goalkeeper in the world Manuel Neuer, well Manuel is by far the best player on FIFA 16, the only goalkeepers close to him are David de Gea of Manchester United and Thibaut Curtois of Chelsea who both have a rating of 86 on FIFA 16. Manuel Neuer is well known for his great position in goal and good control of the ball when it comes to using his feet and any other part of the body apart from his hands.

3. Luis Suarez – FC Barcelona/Uruguay – 90

Luis Suarez takes up third spot on the Top 10 FIFA 16 Player Ratings with a rating of 90 in the game 1 step ahead of his previous rating on FIFA 15. Luis Suarez is well known for his dribbling skills and clinical finishing ability inside the 18 yard box, well not only that the Uruguayan can also take a good shot from long range and has great free kick ability.

He is yet to settle at FC Barcelona following his big money move from Liverpool in 2014 but has still managed to get a few goals for his new team but is not at his peak best.

2. Cristiano Ronaldo – Real Madrid/Portugal – 93

In second spot is Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo with a rating of 93 1 step ahead of the previous rating of 92 on FIFA 15. This player is described as a complete forward by EA Sports and that’s no lie, this player can head the ball well, shoot, dribble, pass and is physically strong on the ball. Cristiano Ronaldo‘s work rate is simply amazing and that’s why he is one of the best players in the world as he works so hard on and off the ball.

1. Lionel Messi – FC Barcelona/Argentina – 94

Finally the top dog on the list of the Top 10 FIFA 16 Player Ratings is FC Barcelona and Argentina forward Lionel Messi, i reckon we all saw this coming. Lionel Messi has a FIFA 16 rating of 94 a 1 ahead of his rival Cristiano Ronaldo who sits in second place. The four time Ballon D’or winner is arguably the best player in the world but is closely matched with Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo.

Lionel Messi is also the ambassador of EA Sports game FIFA and has featured on the cover of the series since 2013.
