The Chinese Super League was a project started a few years ago but money suddenly dried up and the project was stopped after it managed to Lure players like Didier Drogba and Nicklas Anelka who were paid huge amounts of money, but now the project is back again with more investors and plenty money to spend around, it has already lured players like Ramires, Alex Texeira, Jo, Fredy Guarin.. etc and will look to bring more top players to the league like the ones we have mentioned in this list which you will find out soon.

Top Ten Players The Chinese SL Will Want

Also, look out for the Top 10 Players You Don’t Know Play in the Chinese Super League which will be published out soon.

Here are Top 10 Players The Chinese SL Will Target.

10. Radamel Falcao

From the best striker in the world to one of the worst strikers in the world. Radamel Falcao was once the most prolific striker in the world while playing for Athletico Madrid in the Spanish Laliga and now he is a third choice striker at Chelsea following a loan move from Monaco to Chelsea.

Despite his poor form the Chinese Super League thnk he might just revive his form if he moves to China and we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Colombian mopve to China as not any top European side wants his signature.

9. Hulk

One of the Strongest Footballers in The World makes it to this list. Hulk is currently playing for Zenit St Petersberg in the Russian League following his move from FC Porto. Givandildo Vieira de Sousa popularly known as ”Hulk” is one of the most physical players in the world, he earned the nick name ”Hulk” from his likeness with television and movie character the Hulk.

Ohh his left foot is his weapon to smash goals in from long range. At the age of 29 he is still in the Brazilian national team and would be a great addition to the Chinese Super League with fellow Brazilian Ramires, Paulinho, Jo and Alex Texeira already in the league.

8. Moussa Sissoko

A player who made all the headlines after joining Newcastle and when he scored two goals on his debut against Chelsea. Moussa Sissoko has been a great addition to the Newcastle team his pace is off the hook and would be a major threat to opposing Chinese defenders.

7. Mario Balotelli

One of the worst Liverpool signings in the clubs history. Mario Balotelli still has the confidence to become one of the best players in the world and to bring back the form he had at Manchester City and AC Milan. The Italian has struggled in the Premier League since joining Liverpool only scoring a single goal in the Premier League before he was loaned back to AC Milan. A move to China would help him with hiss issues and would definitely help his bank account too. 😉

6. Diafra Sakho

Only worrying thing about this player is his injuries. The Senegalese international has been a great signing for West Ham United in the Premier League, he was in great form for West Ham United before he was injured which disturbed his form for while before getting back. The Senegalese made a name for himself in the French Ligue 1 before moving to the Premier League and we wouldn’t be shocked seeing him in the Chinese Super League next season considering the number of other options West Ham United have got in Andy Caroll, Victor Moses, Valencia…. if they had to receive a good offer from the CSL

5. Odion Ighalo

Closing down on the top five is Nigerian and Watford striker Odion Ighalo. The 26 year old has been on transfer tabs of top European clubs following his brilliant performances for the Hornets in the Premier League scoring 34 times in 61 appearances. We wouldn’t be surprised seeing the Nigerian in China rather than in the Premier League with teams like Manchester United or China as they have been out bided with Chinese teams.

Despite all this the Nigerian has always dreamed to play for a top European side.

4. Zlatan Ibrahimovic

In fourth of the Top 10 Players The Chinese SL is no other than the Super Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Many might say a 34 year old player has passed his career peak but with Zlatan at the age of 34 he plays as if his at the peak of his career. His scored 98 goals in 112 games for Paris Saint Germain since his arrival in France in 2012.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has played for a number of top European sides over the years. Without any doubt, China would be lucky to have this legend play in the Chinese Super League.

3. Arjen Robben

One of the best in the world at the moment, but the Dutch player has only got one problem and its his injuries, the moment the Holland plays well and goes on a good form streak he gets injured. Everyone might know what he does and what he will do which is picking up the ball on the right wing runs with the ball cuts in to his left foot and stirs the ball into the goal everyone might know what he does but it’s surprising that it works everytime he does.

Arjen Robben has won the Champions League and a number of League titles with Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich and After seven years in German with Bayern Munich we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Dutch leave the club.

2. Yaya Toure

One of the best in the Premier League at the moment makes it on the list of the Top 10 Players The Chinese SL Will Target. It will be shocking come August if we will see the Ivorian at Manchester City following his comments on the incoming manager, Yaya Toure said ”Anyone can achieve what pep achieved with Barcelona and Bayern Munich” disrespectful huh?. The 32 year old will have to go through a number of offers before finally deciding which team he will join up with with the Chinese League teams putting up quite good offers.

1. Wayne Rooney

Many might say that Wayne Rooney is nolonger a big player at the moment considering that his form has decreased over the years. Only 30 years of age and the English man has achieved more than he can at that age, he is the top scorer of the English national team and has 177 goals in 362 appearances for Manchester United.

He might now be 30 which may seem old by some standards but Wayne Rooney started playing in the Premier League at a tender age of 16 and we wouldn’t be surprised seeing the United skipper move away from the Premier League to join a CSL team.

Rumor has it that an offer was received for Wayne Rooney from the Chinese Super League worth £500k per week which would make him the highest paid footballer in the world.
