A few surprises names have cropped up amongst the league’s best strikers as the most prolific goalscorers are revealed

The Premier League’s best strikers are not simply defined by who has scored the most goals, looked most threatening in front of goal or tests the goalkeeper on most occasions.

A striker, putting it obviously, is most valuable to a team when he scores with regularity and, with that said, the stats have revealed who is ‘really’ the most prolific in the English top flight.
