Bayern Leverkusen defender Omer Toprak could be subject of a January transfer battle when the window re-opens.

The Turkish centre-back is attracting attention from the biggest clubs in the Premier League, with Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham all ready to bring the player to England.

It is understood that scouts from all three clubs have been watching Toprak’s progress this season, but were noticed to be watching his display against Zenit St. Petersburg last week.

The German-born defender is valued at £12 million pounds by Leverkusen, but the club are in no pressure to sell, with Toprak’s contract running until 2018.

All three Prem clubs are willing to cover-up evident defensive problems, and see Toprak as the man that can patch up the problems.
