Tottenham are in pole position to sign Swansea hot-shot Wilfried Bony.

It was understood that Liverpool had infact a £12.5m bid for the Ivorian striker rejected by the Swans, as the Welsh club value the player at £19m.

However, Liverpool have turned their attentions elsewhere with an accepted cut-price offer of £8.5m from QPR for hitman Remy, which means Bony will not be persued by the Reds.

This has left Tottenham licking their lips, who now wil prioritise Bony as one of their mains targets this summer.

Spurs want Bony to lead the line for them next season, after an impressive first season in the Premier league last year scoring 25 goals.
