It’s thought that Manchester United are homing in on Benfica’s Renato Sanches as their first summer signing.
The youngster is thought to be valued at around £39million, and it is now thought that a deal is in place between the two clubs, despite Manchester City and Real Madrid both sniffing around the player too.
However, Old Trafford-bound Jose Mourinho and Sanches are both represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes which is reportedly set to swing the deal. It is thought former-Chelsea boss Mourinho will be put in full control of transfers at Old Trafford.
Sanches, under contract at Benfica until 2021, has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign this season.
He was handed his international debut for Portugal in March.
