The Red Devils wants the Swiss winger Xherdan Shaqiri

According to reports from The Sun, the Red Devil has shown interest in signing the Swiss winger Xherdan Shaqiri. The winger has indicated to move from his present club, The Potters after they were relegated from the Premier League.

The reports also says that United boss, Jose Mourinho has followed the performance of the winger in last season Premier League and the ongoing World Cup as well. Mourinho informed his friends that he was impressed with the performance of the winger and wants to offer him a contract at Old Trafford.

Xherdan Shaqiri has insisted on being in Premier league. He told the Sporx, “I want to continue on big teams. I want to stay in the Premier League, and you will find out my new club soon.”

The Swiss Winger who was a part of the Swiss Football club FC Basel in his initial days.  He scored 23 goals from his 233 appearances for the club before moving to German giants Bayern Munich. The Winger joined the German club in the year 2012 for €11.6 million on a 4-year contract. The player represented the German club for 81 matches, scoring in 17 occasions.

After being at the German club for 3 years, the Swizz then moved to Italian club Inter Milan on a 4-and-a-half-year deal with the club for €15 million. But after representing the Italian side in 20 matches and scoring 3 goals for the side, the Winger then moved to English side Stroke City and has been a part of the club for last 3 years.

On 11 August, Shaqiri completed his move to Stoke for a club-record fee of £12 million (€14.5 million). He has represented the club in 92 games and has scored 15 times for the club.

Shaqiri run with the Swiss team came to an end in the match against Sweden where they lost 1-0.
