Hammers identify replacements

West Ham have identified two Premier League players as potential replacements for want-away star Dimitri Payet.

Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson and Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi are the two players they want to replace the player, who told manager Slaven Bilic that he wanted to leave and will refuse to play for the club earlier this week.

Bilic first exclaimed that the club would refuse to sell Payet, but now seems to be coming to terms with the fact it would be better to sell the playmaker, despite rejecting a £19million bid from Marseille for him on Thursday.

Sigurdsson has been in a Swansea team struggling for form this season and Batshuayi hasn’t been able to break into the Chelsea team due to the form of Diego Costa, so both players could have an incentive to leave their clubs permanently or on loan this January.
