Who is going to win the Premier League next season?

Who can win next season’s Premier League title? Can Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool win the Premier League next season? We will look at and discusse 6 contenders for next season’s Premier League title. This season proving that the Premier League is the best league in the world.

It’s proved that money isn’t everything in football, and that any team can have a terrible season if they don’t get it right. Leicester, after nearly being relegated last season, are on the verge of securing a Premier League title, while Chelsea have fallen so far from a year ago, from 1st to 10th in 12 months.

So, it would be silly to try and call who’s going to win the Premier League title next season, wouldn’t it? Well, that’s exactly what we’re going to try and do. Roll on the contenders! (In no particular order)

The Favourites – Manchester City

For me, with the players they have and the manager they’ve got coming in, these guys could walk the Premier League next season. They need to sort their defence out, but they have special, special players in Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero, and they can guide City to domestic and maybe even European glory next season if they stay fit.

The Revolutionists – Tottenham

These guys have been reborn under Maurico Pochettino this season, with the team chasing Leicester in a groundbreaking campaign. A top 4 finish is almost guarenteed now and a title win isn’t out of the question. Harry Kane has proved for them that he isn’t just a one-season wonder, and if he’s firing again next season Spurs could make a real go of it

.

The Strugglers – Chelsea

What has happened to Chelsea this season? It’s been a season to forget as Jose Mourinho was sacked by Christmas after winning the title so comfortably back in May. It’s been an incredible decline and new manager Antonio Conte has a lot of work to do upon his arrival in the summer, but can the Italian genius guide the side back to glory so soon?

The Dark Horses – Liverpool

It all depends on who arrives at Anfield this summer, but we’ve seen many promising signs and flashes of what sort of team Jurgen Klopp is creating at Liverpool. If they get Champions League football this year through the Europa League, and then Klopp gets a big budget this summer to buy the right players, Liverpool can be a real force next season, and teams like Chelsea and Man United will be worried about the substantial progress Liverpool are making under Klopp after having their own below-par seasons.

The Under-Achievers – Arsenal

Arsenal, like the title of this slide suggests, are major under-achievers in this league. They should be challenging for the title properly every season, and while they technically have challenged this season, it’s fallen apart in March again, and suddenly they’re looking over their shoulders at what’s behind them, as their attentions suddenly switch to staying in the top 4. All the ‘big’ teams have under-achieved this season, but Arsenal are consistently doing it now, and fans are getting frustrated. How long will the club put up without a title under Arsene Wenger?

The Believers – Leicester City

Well, why not? They could very well do it this season, the belief and team spirit in that side is something to be admired. Could Claudio Ranieri’s men storm to back-to-back titles in 2017? Don’t rule it out, the party of Jamie Vardy is only just beginning…
