When you quickly glance at the current Premier League table, everything would appear to be normal.

However, there are some very interesting facts that you may not have noticed.

We tend to mainly focus on the points and goals, however, when you take a closer look there is some interesting things that have happened.

If you are a die-hard football fan you will love these.

Let’s take a look at the 10 things you didn’t know about the current Premier League table:

10. Middlesbrough v Arsenal

Middlesbrough (37) have conceded fewer goals than Arsenal (39) or Liverpool (40).

9. West Ham v Chelsea

West Ham have scored as many away goals (26) as Chelsea.

8. Chelsea still yet to draw at home

Chelsea are the only team yet to draw a game at home (P15 W13 D0 L2).

7.  The top seven

The top seven all have goal differences of +22 or better. No one else in the division has a positive goal difference.

Arsenal are currently closer to 16th placed Bournemouth (19 point gap) than 1st placed Chelsea (21 point gap).

5. The 27 club

Man City have only scored 27 goals at home – the same as both West Brom and Bournemouth.

4. More Away than Home

Man City, Man United, Southampton, Crystal Palace and West Ham have all scored more away goals than home goals.

3. Not the season they’d hope for

Leicester have lost as many games as Middlesbrough (15). West Ham have lost more (16).

2. So much more

Man United have 12 draws – FOUR TIMES as many as Chelsea (3).

Arsenal and West Brom have identical records over their last eight Premier League games: W2 D1 L5.
