Ronaldo makes it to sixth on the list. Considered by many as the best striker to ever grace the footballing world. Many say this guy is the ”Real Ronaldo” but all I can say is only Lionel Messi fans call him that Lol. The Brazilian Ronaldo’s first big club was PSV Eindhoven where he played two seasons and established a name for himself before he caught the eyes of other big clubs it was not long enough till he joined Barcelona were he had an incredible record of 34 goals in 37 appearances for the Catalan club. From there he moved to rivals Real Madrid.

Tied with Brazilian player as the player of the century of the period 1900 to 2000. Th Argentine was known for his speed, balance on the ball and vision in front of goal. This player was what we called the perfect number 10 the only problem with this great player was his addiction to cocaine which brought up serious health problems after he retired from professional football.

Diego Maradona is compared to country man Lionel Messi as the best player of all time, Lionel Messi only needs to win the World Cup to surpass this footballing legend, he was close to that but lost to Germany in the final in the 2014 World Cup final in Brazil.

Even at the age of 75 the Brazilian is very much involved in Sports and might just compete for the FIFA presidency come this election. In 1999, he was voted the player of the century by the International federation of Football history and Statistics. TheBrazilian never played for any European side during his playing days as he only played for Santos and the New York Cosmas but most of his success came while playing for the Brazilian national team, he became the first player to ever win three World Cups.

The Brazilian has a mindblowing number of goals of 1281 in 1363 career games. Who could beat that? it’s sad that the Brazilian never got a chance to play in the English Premier League or any European top team.

1. Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi is top of our greatest footballers who never played in the Premier League list. Widely regarded as the greatest football of all time. Lionel Messi has never played for any team in the Premier League or any other team apart from Barcelona, The Argentine joined the ”La Massia” at the age of 14 and has since grown into the first team and has become their best ever player.
