Top 10 highest rated midfielders in FIFA 20

EA Sports have revealed the player ratings for the best midfielders in this year’s FIFA 20.

The game’s official release is later this month.

The demo for FIFA 2020 was released during the week, with the full game itself set to be released towards the end of the month on 27 September.

And ahead of this, EA have confirmed the best players in this year’s edition of the game, as they look to hype fans up ahead of release. EA have confirmed the names of all midfielders rated 85 or higher that will be featuring in FIFA 20, with there being a few ratings in store that’ll surely come as a surprise to some fans.

We have already made a list of the Top 10 highest rated players, but now, let’s take a look at the Top 10 highest rated midfielders in FIFA 20.

10. Paulo Dybala – 88

After spending a season in the shadow of 2018 summer top arrival of Ronaldo, Juventus midfielder Paulo Dybala has gone down to 88 overall rating.

9. David Silva – 88

One of the numerous 88 rated players is Manchester City’s captain David Silva. He is currently doing his final season as a Citizen, showing some incredible skills during his 10-year stint in England.

The German international has also been rated at 88 per EA. The Dortmund talisman plays a leading role under Lucien Favre, the coach who molded him at the start of the decade when they were both at Gladbach.

7. Paul Pogba – 88

Manchester United ace Paul Pogba is 88 in this year’s game, something that puts him three ratings higher than Fabinho for example, with the Liverpool man’s rating sitting at 85.

6. Christian Eriksen – 88

The final 88 rated player in FIFA 20 is Christian Eriksen of Tottenham. The highly-rated star, who has been a target man for many top clubs this summer, is sixth on the list of highest rated midfielders in the game – despite having an equal overall rating with all the previous players.

5. Toni Kroos – 88

The 2014 World Cup winner is far from that form, but still manages to hold on to a rating of 88 in the video game. Kroos, who has won the Champions League three times with Madrid and La Liga once, is currently the only healthy midfielder in Real Madrid’s squad.

4. Sergio Busquets – 89

One of the main men behind Barcelona’s success the past years is undoubtedly Sergio Busquets. As a result, he has managed to earn himself the fourth place with only a point above the other players, at 89.

3. N’Golo Kante – 89

At 89 overall rating stands also Chelsea’s defensive wall in the midfield, N’Golo Kante. He won the Europa League with The Blues and 2018 World Cup with France, and that is why he is rated the third best midfielder in FIFA 20.

2. Luka Modric – 90

Despite Real Madrid enduring a terrible, under-average 2018/2019 season, Luka Modric was named the 2018 Ballon d’Or winner, and that puts him on the second spot with an overall rating of 90.

1. Kevin De Bruyne – 91

Unexpectedly, Kevin De Bruyne is the highest rated midfielder on the game this term with an overall rating of 91. Well deserved for the Manchester City ace, who inevitably won the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and the FA Community Shield last season. The Belgian international also managed to help his country secure the bronze medal at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
