Barcelona ‘agree personal terms with Philippe Coutinho’

FC Barcelona have agreed personal terms with Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho ahead of a January move, according to the Daily Mirror.

After missing out on the Brazilian international in the summer, Barca are set to make another move for him in the new year with talks that they are preparing a new bid in the region of £106.5million.

Coutinho is understood to have agreed a move to the Camp Nou, but now has to convince Jurgen Klopp to let him join the Catalan club after they rejected three offers for him in the summer.

Barcelona will not back down in their pursuit of the 25 year-old, and with Liverpool already languishing in the Premier League, it seems likely that he could try and force the move through once more.

Klopp will want to convince his star man to stay until the end of the season at least. The Reds will have to pick up form soon if they are to meet his ambitions.

If Coutinho were to leave in January he would be cup-tied for the Champions League. This would complicate any potential move and could potentially see his value decrease.

PSG are also said to be interested in the former Inter and Vasco de Gama playmaker, who could be tempted to join up with childhood friend Neymar again at the Parc des Princes.
