The Brazilian star has been heavily tipped to make his way back to Camp Nou only two years after his €222m move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Reports claimed earlier this week that Neymar’s father and agent were meeting with Barcelona officials at Brazil, to discuss terms of a potential transfer.
“I hope Neymar comes back. He is a great player that would be really good for Barcelona,” Rafinha told the Spanish media on Thursday. “I have never seen anything like the Messi-Ney-Suarez trident, pure magic. And I hope [Antoine] Griezmann comes, too.”
The midfielder’s contract is set to last till June 2020 and he is being heavily pursued by Valencia. The 26-year-old’s future with the Blaugrana is pretty uncertain but he wants to fight for place next season.
“I see myself in Barcelona next season and I will fight to continue,” he said. “I want to play football and Barcelona is my home, I have a contract with the club and I have a lot of confidence.”
Antoine Griezmann’s move from Atletico to the Catalan side is also nearly confirmed which leaves Barcelona in a peculiar spot with the contracts of Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho, their two record transfer signings.
