Zappacosta joined Chelsea from Torino on transfer deadline day for a reported £23 million.
The official Italy Twitter account said he will join up with the rest of the Italian squad for training today.

The wing-back is a player that Antonio Conte knows well, it was the Chelsea head coach who gave the player his first taste of international football when he was in charge of the Azzurri.
