Chelsea will be playing Brentford at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues have managed two back-to-back wins in their last league games and are currently on a four-game unbeaten run across all competitions.

Chelsea have shown some signs of progress under Mauricio Pochettino in recent weeks and are currently four points behind the top six and eight points adrift of Liverpool in fourth.

They had a devastating 2022/23 campaign finishing 12th in the league with just 44 points from 38 games.

Although Chelsea had a shaky start to the new campaign, they surprised everyone with their performance at home against Arsenal last weekend.

BBC Pundit Chris Sutton believes the West London club will pick up all three points against Thomas Frank’s men this weekend.

He said: “Brentford ended a six-game winless streak by beating Burnley last time out, but I feel Chelsea are improving every week.”

“They haven’t cracked it yet under Mauricio Pochettino, but they are getting there. They were probably the better team for most of their game with Arsenal last weekend, and ended up being disappointed with a draw.”
