Conor Coady has said that he wants Wolves to seize the FA Cup chance.

The Wolves are set to face Bristol City in their 5th round matchup this weekend.

Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Conor Coady has said that he wants his side to seize the chance to win the FA Cup this season. The Wolves beat the Premier League leaders Liverpool in their last match to advance to the next round and are set to face Bristol City in their 5th round matchup.

Speaking to the media ahead of the crucial clash, the Wolves skipper said, “It’s an amazing cup. It’s an incredible competition and the longer you stay in it, the better it is for everybody.”

He added, “It’s such an exciting thing for supporters. We know they’ll follow us to Bristol so we’re looking forward to it. It’s brilliant for us, it really is. Everybody is looking forward to it. You speak to any one of the boys and it’s a big competition for us, one we can’t wait to play in. Ask any one of the players and they’re really looking forward to it, they really are. It’s a great game for us to go and play and improve, but we’ve got to prepare for Bristol and what they’re going to bring as we know from experience that they can hurt you.”

Coady concluded, “We know the fans will get behind us, and we’ve got good memories of Bristol. But we need to go there and respect them as a football club as we know how good they can be. We’ll go there looking to improve and get better, and hopefully come away with the result.”
